VC Meudon was formed over 25 years ago with the aim of creating a cycling club in the Fleet and Farnham area with a sharper focus on racing than previously existed.
The club ethos and racing focus remain today with members competing at all levels and in all branches of the sport - from road and cyclo-cross to mountain bikes and sportives. 2011 was another successful year with our new members dominating the Surrey League season long competition for novices and our experienced riders winning national championships in 2011. The club also continues to produce successful riders who move to teams focusing solely on elite racing while retaining their connection with the club and sharing their experience with newer members.
In 2012 as usual we are promoting numerous races, including the Eelmore series, and organising regular rides for all levels of rider. We have fast training rides, clubruns, women-friendly rides and an incentive scheme for young riders wanting to get into the sport.
