Course Description

The lap starts with the bunch rolling out onto an unmarked Flandrian style dusty gravel strewn farm track, before hanging a left into the wider Black Lane, where the course descends quickly to the turn onto The Avenue.

From here it's a steady rise along the false flat past the garden centre before falling again to Golden Pot. A sharp turn and the race sweeps quickly along the B3349 for 2+ miles till it hits South Warnborough. Here it's another left turn and up a short sharp climb - steepish but still more berg than muur - before falling - and quickly rising and falling again across the open farmland - the crosswinds can be strong here - to the left turn at Upton Grey.

From here it's only a few miles to the uphill finish as the course races through the flatlands of Weston Patrick before the road rises and keeps on rising steadily to the finish on Herriard Hill. Then it's a left onto the unmarked narrower lanes to start the lap again.
