VC Meudon was formed over 25 years ago with the aim of creating a cycling club in the Fleet and Farnham area with a sharper focus on racing than previously existed.
The club ethos and racing focus remain today with members competing at all levels and in all branches of the sport - from road and cyclo-cross to mountain bikes and sportives. 2012 was an outstanding year for the club, winning the overall team competition, the individual title with Dean Corney, plus best junior and vet in the hard fought Surrey League. We also produced a national age group champion and helped a number of novice riders get into road racing and move up the ranks.
In 2013 we are running our new race team, promoting numerous races (including the Eelmore series) and organising regular rides for all levels of rider. We have fast training rides, clubruns, women-friendly rides and an incentive scheme for young riders wanting to get into the sport.
